World Courier rolls out domestic delivery in China

We are pleased to announce enhancements to our line haul services* in China through a strategic partnership with KY Express (a subsidiary of JD Logistics). Through this collaboration, we leverage KY Express' extensive domestic transport network to offer a competitive and efficient transport solution to our clients throughout China.

The partnership allows World Courier to extend its land transport network to cover all of China’s tier one, two, and three cities. This accounts for 95 percent of the country's population. This expanded coverage enables reliable deliveries across the country, with shorter delivery times for interprovince shipments.

To ensure consistency across our services, KY Express has been thoroughly evaluated against our high-quality standards. They have deployed the “Sky-Eye System,” which continuously tracks and monitors the status of goods for safety and protect against loss. Data security is also enhanced with all customer information on electronic waybills being encrypted. Protective packaging is used to maintain product integrity. It is water and moisture proof, delivery vehicles are properly ventilated, and high load-bearing shelves prevent damage.

Customers  too will benefit from World Courier and KY Express’ joint premium services. Collection and drop-off times are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for quicker door-to-door delivery times. Use of AI systems also help decision making for intelligent route planning and scheduling. This flexibility enables us to offer the same premium level of service comparable to Next Flight Out (NFO)** or other alternatives, at a more competitive price point. Customers also have full visibility of their shipment, with services such as proof of delivery receipts, SMS delivery notifications, and GPS tracking.

Through this partnership with KY Express, World Courier strengthens its position as a leading logistics provider of specialty pharmaceuticals. By leveraging KY Express's local transport network, we can deliver faster, more cost-effective, and reliably to clients across China. A: With the addition of this logistics partner, we have access to the high capacity and choice of shipments options offered by KY Express. Inter-province options include eight-hour, next day, and 72-hour shipping – all by land. Through this partnership we can offer lower-cost options, and more competitive shipment delivery times.
