Laura Ackermann is World Courier’s Regional Vice President Nordics, Central & Eastern Europe.  A pragmatic and solutions-driven problem solver, Laura is passionate about improving global healthcare delivery through innovative, compliant logistics solutions with a continuous focus on meeting the needs of both customers and patients.

Before joining World Courier, Laura led global life science and healthcare teams for leading freight forwarders such as DHL and DB Schenker. In these roles, she successfully developed and implemented GxP-based quality management systems and spearheaded operations, network, and product development. Laura’s expertise spans account management, customer service, service delivery, and supplier management, including contracting, relationship, and performance management. She leverages this extensive knowledge to develop product strategies and identify opportunities for solution and product development.  

Laura holds a dual bachelor’s degree in European History and German Literature from Colorado State University and a Master of International Management from the Thunderbird School of International Management.  She is based in the Frankfurt office, where her leadership continues to drive growth and enhance service delivery in the NCEE region.
