Emma Court leads World Courier's global technology strategy and transformation agenda. A respected technology and change executive with more than 25 years of experience, she is recognized for driving large-scale business transformation, building high-performing teams, and positioning technology as a catalyst for growth, innovation, and operational excellence. She was recently recognised in the HotTopics Global CIO 100 awards.

Throughout her career, Emma has held senior technology and transformation leadership roles across both the public and private sectors, including HM Revenue & Customs, Network Rail, Tesco PLC, and other complex organizations and consultancies. She has delivered enterprise-wide transformation programmes, modernized technology capabilities and operating models, and led teams through periods of significant change and growth.

Known for her collaborative and inclusive leadership style, Emma is passionate about growing future technology leaders, fostering innovation, and creating environments where people and technology can thrive together. She is particularly driven by delivering solutions that make a meaningful difference for customers and colleagues, ensuring technology investments translate into practical, sustainable value. Emma is also a strong advocate for the responsible adoption of emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence, helping organizations harness innovation in ways that are both impactful and ethical.

Emma began her career as a Systems Engineer in military aviation and holds a Master of Engineering degree in Systems Engineering from Loughborough University, where she was sponsored by BAE Systems.
