The eQMS is a digital platform designed to automate and simplify our quality management system processes, making them more efficient, reliable, and user friendly.

What does this mean for you?

You will see improvements in the quality of service we provide and the clarity of our communication. You will receive a new format for the corrective and preventative actions (CAPA) reports starting from end of September 2024 for transport services clients.

  1. What is an electronic quality management system eQMS? An eQMS is a digital platform that automates and streamlines quality management system processes. It simplifies the management of policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (Wis), transport management system (TMS) reference docs, statement of works (SOWs), user manuals (UMs), and agent work instructions (AWIs).
  2. Why are we transitioning to an eQMS? We are transitioning to an eQMS to increase the efficiency of our processes, reduce manual tasks and paper-based procedures, digitalize our quality data for better trending and ensure we are consistently delivering high-quality services to our clients.
  3. Who is providing the eQMS? We are implementing an eQMS provided by MasterControl, a recognized leader in the field of quality management systems.
  4. When will the transition to the eQMS take place? The transition is taking place in multiple phases. We have already implemented the Documentation and Training modules, the CSS (storage) Deviation & CAPA module, the Change Management module and the Internal Audit module. Next modules to be implemented are: Transport CAPA process by September 2024, External audit module by Q4 2024, and Supplier audit module by Q1 2025.
  5. How will this transition affect me as a client? Most of the changes will impact our internal processes, and we anticipate minimal disruption for our clients. You will begin to receive your CAPA reports in a new format.
  6. What changes can I expect in the CAPA reports? While the fundamental purpose of the CAPA reports remains the same, the new format may include more detailed information on root cause analysis and improved data visualizations, offering a clearer, more comprehensive view of the incident and our efforts to avoid recurrence.
  7. What support is available during this transition? We're committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for our clients. We have created various resources available for download on our website. For any other queries, you can contact our support team directly.
  8. Is this transition part of a larger change? Yes, the eQMS implementation is part of a broader digitalization journey aimed at continuous process improvement and better client service.
  9. Will the eQMS meet regulatory requirements? Yes, our new eQMS is being validated to the GAMP 5 and CFR 21 Part 11 standards. This ensures our system is compliant with stringent industry regulations. In addition we comply with our GxP Compliant Change Control Management and Risk Management process.
  10. What will happen to the old system? Our old system will be phased out gradually. As each module of the eQMS goes live, the corresponding part of the old system will be decommissioned.
