During the Grand Opening Celebration we welcomed associates and their families to the 300,000 sq. ft. facility. The facility  includes state-of-the-art features for associates such as: tech-enabled conference and business centers; specialized mother rooms; fitness and yoga centers; and a coffee shop, café and micro-market. Associates working at the location can also enjoy access to nearby walking and biking trails, all within a 30-minute drive to downtown Dallas.  

As a part of AmerisourceBergen’s efforts to promote sustainability and associate wellbeing, the new office, located in the Austin Ranch Community, is actively pursuing a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver certification, and is smoke and tobacco-free. A sustainability roadmap was created to guide the design and ensure optimized operations and energy and water savings. The facility also includes a community garden, tended to by associates, which will offer fresh produce and other plants, as well as a Serenity Area for quiet reflection and meditation. 

The new property was developed by Billingsley Company and constructed by StructureTone Southwest. Gensler was the architect for the building and its interior. 

In addition to the new Carrollton location, AmerisourceBergen has more than 130 offices globally. Across all locations, the company looks for innovative ways to reduce energy consumption and cost and makes significant investments in distribution infrastructure and advanced warehouse management systems to optimize operations of the entire pharmaceutical supply channel.
