Examples of information routinely collected by World Courier can include, but is not limited to: names, job titles, company names, addresses, telephone numbers and email addresses, billing information, as well as specifications about the items that we store and transport.
We do not use internet cookies.
Information collected, saved, or in any way utilized by World Courier is for the purpose of soliciting, conducting, or reporting on our business activities and is used strictly for that purpose and for that purpose alone.
We may send email communications about World Courier services and news to customers and others. Each email we send for marketing purposes enables recipients to opt out of receiving further marketing emails from World Courier. There are certain emails that we may continue to send to customers, such as user-requested shipment emails.
We do not share any customer information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to properly fulfill our business obligations and for which we are responsible.
Information may be provided to third parties as required by law including such circumstances as the provision of a statute, a court order such as a search warrant or subpoena, or a warning by a law enforcement agency that delivery of a court order is imminent. In these circumstances, World Courier will:
· take any reasonable steps available to communicate to customers that their data is being transferred, unless we are precluded from doing so by law; and
· only transfer data while the provision is current, and will then stop transferring the data.
World Courier has in place appropriate physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect and/or modify, to prevent unauthorized access, to maintain data accuracy and to ensure the correct use of information.
World Courier is not responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of information that is printed or placed in plain view on the exterior of a package.
Any changes to World Courier’s privacy policy and information handling practices will be reflected in this policy without notice by updating this posting. We may add, modify, or remove portions of this policy when it is required or appropriate to do so. You agree to review the World Courier Privacy Statement regularly.
